Broodthaers Society of America
A Voyage on the North Sea
A charming but sinister book that complements the artist’s film of the same title. Sadly we don’t have the film (yet), nor do we know how this book and the film that accompanied it came to be separated.

Speaking of separated, the pages of the book intentionally have not been trimmed. This may be done, but Broodthaers warns on the inside cover that “the reader had better beware of the knife he will be wielding for the purpose.” We will be leaving our knives in the drawer.
