Charles Baudelaire: Je hais le mouvement qui déplace les lignes [facsimile]
A nicely done facsimile — a kind of displacement? — of the original limited edition artist's book, 338 copies of which were originally published by Edition Hossmann Publishing, Hamburg, in 1973.

The book establishes another node in MB's interest in the selection/ displacement/ redaction/ setting free of words and objects in use. In this case quite literally, as Broodthaers takes the seventh line from Baudelaire's sonnet La Beauté about displacement and literally displaces it.
Dijon and Milan: Les Presses du Réel and Mousse Publishing, 2016. 900 copies.
