le ciel bleu
Le ciel bleu, literary weekly for all, managed to publish nine issues from February through May of 1945. They failed at achieving the goal of being a weekly, strictly speaking, but succeeded at publishing texts and poetry by leading surrealists of the day, including Andre Breton, Christian Dotremont, René Magritte, Marcel Mariën, all the Pauls (Colinet, Eluard, and Nougé) as well as a 21-year-old named Marcel Broodthaerts [sic].
Brussels, tabloid newsprint, two color, illustrated. Nos 8 and 9 were printed on blue stock. Edited by Paul Colinet, Christian Dotremont, and Marcel Mariën. French
